About the Role:

Subscribfy is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team! If you're an expert in Laravel with a knack for building scalable web applications, this role is perfect for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Develop scalable and maintainable web applications using Laravel.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design efficient database architectures and optimize complex queries.
• Write clean, maintainable code while conducting code reviews for your peers.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot challenging technical issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices in development processes.
• Share your knowledge with the team, contribute to QA activities, and participate in Agile workflows.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Laravel, including strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• In-depth understanding of relational databases and version control systems like Git.
• Ability to identify and mitigate technical debt, plan and execute system enhancements, and ensure software reliability through automated testing.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and modern JavaScript frameworks like Nuxt.js.
• Experience with Typescript and DevOps practices.

This job follows a hybrid work model, with 3 days/week in our office located in the historical centre of Timisoara, and the possibility of working 2 days/week from home.

The collaboration will be B2B, with paid Romanian public holidays and 20 paid vacation days per year.
