Job Description
We are currently seeking a forward-thinking Sales Performance manager to spearhead our field Sales Function. As a key member of Sales Excellence Group team, you bridge gaps between channel strategies and local operations, setting a progressive three-year roadmap that emphasizes sales efficiency and effectiveness and driving the implementation of sales standards, methodologies and tools for our sales teams. The ideal candidate will foster a collaborative environment by facilitating the exchange and adoption of best practices within diverse sales communities.
Main activities :
Project and promote the long-term strategic vision for sales function, ensuring integration and alignment with the broader sales strategy.
Lead and energize sales communities by orchestrating interactions among regional referents, promoting an exchange of best practices and insights.
Identify business needs by capturing specific requirements, appraising their value and establishing priority to align with the Group's sales goals.
Assess and scrutinize the sales process performance, ascertain gaps, formulate strategic actions, and drive continual process improvements. Define critical Key Performance Indicators, ensure their accurate monitoring, and leverage them to drive sales process optimization.
Act as a catalyst for organizational change & tools adoption guiding and inspiring teams through transformations in the sales process and mindset, especially with data & digital assets.
Collaborate with the Sales training academy to support and enhance the development and upskilling of teams.
Design and generate comprehensive reference materials including sales processes, tutorials, trainings, and reports to support the sales function effectively.
Qualifications
Main skills :
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Strong understanding of sales strategies, frameworks and CRM
Ability to design and implement roadmaps and processes
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data driven mindset
Competency in data analysis and performance metrics interpretation
Strong experience in project management and cross-functional team leadership
Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and time-sensitive situations
Sound knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
Capacity to train and support teams in new process adoption
Good presentation and communication skills
Language: fluent English (C1 level)
Education: Master’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
Experience: 8 years (minimum) of experience in a sales or business development role, with preferably an experience on process optimization

Permanent position
Location : Europe (full remote allowed, ideally close to Somfy offices location).
Frequent travel : 40%
Travel to the Headquarters in Cluses (France, Haute-Savoie), approximately once a month or once every 2 months
