The Revenue Marketing team at Shine
The Revenue Marketing Germany team sits at the heart of our growth engine directly responsible for driving performance across the Micro Business, Small Business and Accounting (CPA) segments. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Product, Growth and Partnerships, keeping segment focus sharp, go-to-market execution tight, and revenue impact measurable.
This is a high-expectation, fast-moving environment and you'd be joining at a significant moment. The role is a maternity cover, and the mission is clear: bring stability, structure and momentum at a time when it matters most.
Your role as a Segment Marketing Manager, Germany
We are looking for a driven and creative Segment Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in the German market. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing strategies for specific customer segments, driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention across Germany.
📍 Job located in Berlin, Germany with the possibility of two remote working days per week.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop segment-specific marketing strategies tailored to the needs, behaviours, and pain points of defined customer groups in the German market (e.g., SMEs, freelancers, mid-market companies)
Plan multichannel campaigns (email, social media, paid ads, events, content) aligned with segment priorities and business goals
Collaborate cross-functionally with Campaign Managers, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer journey
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights specific to the Germany
Define and track KPIs (e.g., MQLs, conversion rates, CAC, retention metrics) across the revenue journey of the segments
Work closely with local partners, agencies, and media to amplify reach within the target segments
Support product launches and go-to-market strategies for the German market
What You Bring
Professional Experience
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in SaaS, FinTech, or accounting/ERP software
Proven track record in segment or product marketing, ideally in the German market
Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo)
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Hands-on experience with paid media, SEO/SEA, and content marketing
Deep understanding of the German business landscape and buyer behaviour
Strong storytelling and copywriting skills
Fluency in both German (C2 or native level) and English is essential for this role.
