📋 Your role as a Director of Marketing for Denmark
As Head of / Director of Marketing for Denmark, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Shine' marketing strategy in one of our key European markets. You will be responsible for building and leading the local marketing team in Copenhagen (2 people at the moment: 2 Marketing Specialist + 2 Partnership Manager), driving growth initiatives, and ensuring our products achieve strong market adoption. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will collaborate closely with our central teams (Brand, Growth, Product...) to maximize our marketing and revenue efforts on the Danish market.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Market strategy & execution
- Develop and implement a data-driven marketing strategy tailored to the Danish market, ensuring alignment with Shine' overall growth objectives.
- Own and optimize key performance metrics, tracking success through KPIs and data analysis.
- Lead strategic projects focused on market expansion, customer acquisition, and efficiency improvements.
- Develop competitive intelligence strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with growth and brand teams to align marketing initiatives with commercial goals.
Go-to-market (GTM) & growth
- Identify and execute cross-selling and growth opportunities tailored to the local market.
- Develop impactful communication strategies and messaging to enhance brand positioning.
- Oversee product launches, ensuring successful market entry and adoption.
- Manage and coordinate go-to-market plans with internal and external stakeholders.
Local product parketing & partnerships
- Define and communicate the unique value propositions of Shine' products in Denmark.
- Craft localized messaging to effectively engage target audiences.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, including accountants and financial service providers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships and marketplace management.
- Organize and lead local events to strengthen brand awareness and foster business growth.
📍 Job located in Copenhagen, with possibility of two remote working days per week
This is one of the most transversal roles at Shine, offering exposure to multiple aspects of the business, including P&L management, marketing strategy, product positioning, and overall company strategy. Your insights and initiatives will directly impact our market expansion and long-term success. 🔎 About you
- 5+ years of experience in marketing within a fintech, SaaS, or B2B environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven track record in go-to-market execution and product marketing.
- Deep understanding of the Danish market, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with strong project management skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset: you seek autonomy and impact.
- Fluent in Danish and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a high-growth fintech or startup environment.
- Background in financial services, banking, or accounting-related industries.
