As a Payroll Analyst at OLX, you will become part of a dedicated and dynamic global team. In this role, you will be responsible for Polish payroll, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance. Your main objective will be to guarantee that payroll and payments to employees and third parties are processed accurately, in compliance with regulations, and on time. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, practical skills, the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment, and a strong drive for achieving results and improving processes.
In that position, you’ll closely collaborate with HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Finance stakeholders and external payroll vendors as a point of contact.
Your responsibilities:
- Process payroll in Poland with close collaboration with external payroll provider,
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for accounting,
- Be responsible for data validation, resolving discrepancies within tight deadlines, and addressing payroll inquiries from employees in a timely manner,
- Stay up to date with Polish payroll regulations and reply to tax notices, wage orders, unemployment claims, government correspondences/statutory compliance,
- Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase efficiency of payroll operations and explore automation opportunity,
- Deliver information and reports for internal and external audits,
- Maintain a relationship with various stakeholders and payroll providers.
Your background:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/HR,
- At least 2 years’ experience in payroll,
- Very good English, at min. B2 level,
- Knowledge of taxes and social security regulations,
- Knowledge of payroll related law, regulations and best practices,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel,
- Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Attention to details and accuracy,
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset, team player.
