Your opportunity
We are looking for a Lead EMEA Payroll Analyst with outstanding customer service and communication skills who enjoys working in a challenging, fast-paced and high-growth environment.
This role will be accountable for all payroll-related functions, including day-to-day processing of assigned payrolls (EMEA & Asia-Pac) through outsourcing, payroll tax compliance, and payroll reporting in fast-growing environment.
 A successful candidate will be very detail driven and organized, delivering timely and accurate payroll and record keeping. 
This person will be working with all internal employees and managers so must be outgoing and personable as well as knowledgeable about company standards and current payroll laws and regulations.
This role is a fixed-term contract (11 months)

This position is fully remote and available to anyone based in Ireland or open to relocation.
What you'll do
  • Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, timely and in accordance with country local requirements
  • Work with HR function and external payroll providers to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information
  • Address timely employees queries related to payroll
  • Ensure all equity transactions are captured and processed within the pay periods
  • Complete month end payroll activities—preparing journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure that monthly and yearly local tax payments and compliance requirements are met
  • Ensure sufficient controls are in place and implemented to capture changes month on month and any differences are reconciled and explained
  • Schedule, facilitate and participate in payroll-related meetings and presentations
  • Work with external providers regarding specific payroll treatment for employees e.g. expatriate, international assignments & equity
  • Work with internal and external audit to ensure the integrity of the payroll information 
  • Have knowledge of internal controls, SOX documentation and control testing experience.
  • Review and update all process documentation as required
  • Lead new payroll/system implementation, as needed
  • Support business leaders on adhoc projects as required


This role requires
  • Deep knowledge and experience in Payroll required
  • IPASS/CIPP qualified ideally
  • Experience working with Workday 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Experience a fast-growing public company strongly preferred
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Payroll or accounting qualifications preferred
