ABOUT THIS JOB
In this role, you will act as a commercial leader, leveraging a deep understanding of NIQ eCommerce solutions to solve complex client business challenges and drive measurable growth.
You will take full ownership of client outcomes—translating business needs into strategic, data-driven solutions and leading end-to-end client engagement enabled by NIQ’s eCommerce capabilities. By combining strong commercial acumen with NIQ’s advanced solutions, you will help clients identify growth opportunities, optimize performance, and unlock new revenue streams.
This role requires a strong balance of consultative selling, solution expertise, and account leadership. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to influence key decisions and position NIQ as a trusted strategic partner in their eCommerce growth journey.
Job Description
- Diagnose clients’ online business challenges and needs, and develop tailored solutions leveraging NIQ eCommerce capabilities, including proposal development and client presentations
- Lead end-to-end client engagement based on a deep understanding of NIQ eCommerce solutions, while driving strategic sales initiatives to consistently achieve revenue targets across assigned accounts and the broader eCommerce business
- Develop and execute mid- to long-term account strategies, proactively identifying and expanding new business opportunities within key client portfolios
- Provide forward-looking analysis and forecasts on the KR eCommerce and retail landscape, delivering actionable insights on distribution environment and product performance
- Contribute to establish thought leadership in the online market by leading client workshops, industry seminars, etc.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with clients and internal NIQ stakeholders (e.g., Product, Analytics, Commercial teams) to ensure effective project execution and client satisfaction
- Partner with internal product teams to co-develop and enhance consumer-centric eCommerce solutions and analytics offerings
- Share Korea eCommerce best practices across global teams, contributing to knowledge exchange and international business growth
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required)
- Proven experience in data-driven sales or selling data/analytics-based solutions
- Strong understanding of the eCommerce industry, with sales experience and a demonstrated interest in expanding into data analytics
- Solid account management experience managing key clients (e.g., major brands or platform companies)
- Experience working with consumer panel data, big data, or index-based datasets, with the ability to derive data-driven analysis
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to effectively influence and persuade clients
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with a strong client service mindset
- Proficiency in English (listening, writing, and verbal communication) for business and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, with a strong understanding and practical experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred
