Job Description
Global Service Center Media Measurement (GSC MM) is an operations department located in Sofia – a global centralized Hub working closely with all NIQ Media local and global teams, including Ops, Tech, Product and Commercial. The department provides a wide range of operations services, including data and systems quality control, panel helpdesk support, data processing and delivery, data analytics, but also data science and automation support.
We are looking for a senior specialist to join our Data Production team. The role is generally responsible for the production and delivery of data (regular and ad hoc) for multiple audience measurement services. You will be monitoring and executing data processing workflows using big data tools and predefined procedures, ensuring proper workflow configurations and data integrity
Key Responsibilities
- Execute predefined data processing procedures using proprietary (cloud) applications
- Configure data workflows for different countries and panels (predefined scripts)
- Monitor incoming data and check integrity before processing (cloud and local tools, scripts)
- Escalate data quality issues and support investigations (JIRA, MS Teams, etc.)
- Collaborate with relevant global teams (Operations, Tech, Product, Commercial)
- Support the team lead, coordinators and principles in various internal initiatives
- Support documenting tasks /services, and training of junior team members
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices within the team
Skills, knowledge and experience required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience (working with and managing data)
- Advanced level of MS Excel or similar data tools
- Basic knowledge in SQL data query scripting
- Very good level of English language, both written and spoken
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving and effective communication skills
- Knowledge in Python or other programming is considered as advantage
- Understanding statistics or big data is considered as advantage
