We are looking for a Big Data Software Engineer to join our NIQ Activate Technology team in Yokne'am Illit, Israel. This is a hybrid work environment with the expectation of being in the office 2-3 days a week.

What you'll do

  • Configure and support live, ongoing, and trial client data feeds using the feed configurator.
  • Deliver data via Snowflake and cloud storage platforms (e.g., Amazon S3).
  • Monitor feed deliveries end‑to‑end, identifying upstream and downstream delays using BI dashboards and alerting tools (e.g., Opsgenie).
  • Provide operational support for data pipelines and data delivery, partnering with data engineering, software engineering, and customer success teams.
  • Troubleshoot data and delivery issues; coordinate with upstream data providers and technology partners as needed.
  • Track, document, and escalate issues through a JIRA‑based ticketing system.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track feed health, delivery SLAs, and data availability.

    We’re looking for candidates who have:

    • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
    • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with SQL and Python.
    • Working knowledge of cloud platforms and data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
    • Experience monitoring data pipelines and identifying upstream/downstream data delays.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
    • Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
    • Comfortable working with globally distributed teams.
    • Nice to have: Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
