ABOUT THIS JOB
The role will provide data-driven and analytical support for global and local clients from FMCG and Tech & Durables industries. An Insight Analyst will be responsible for one or several clients, working closely with internal stakeholders from client-facing NIQ teams, operating as part of a broader international community, and contributing proactively to supporting clients in achieving their strategic business objectives through high‑quality insights and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting internal NIQ stakeholders (Consultants, Account Development, local Insights Teams etc.) in their day-to-day work with the client by:
Leading and executing projects by extracting, compiling, analyzing, and interpreting sales and consumer data, visualizing it, and building clear insight‑driven presentations.
Producing and validating data summaries in tables, charts, and graphs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and analytical robustness of deliverables.
Drafting reports and presentations with clear data interpretation and recommendations (varying levels of complexity), tailored to client and stakeholder needs.
Actively identifying and sharing best practice examples, opportunities for optimization and automation, and implementing improved approaches in day‑to‑day work.
Contributing to preparation for client meetings and presentations, providing analytical input, key messages, and supporting materials.

Curiosity drives your interest in what moves the FMCG or T&D market. You are confident in identifying trends and patterns that build a bigger picture, and you enjoy translating data into meaningful insights and implications. You like working with numbers and continuously look for ways to make analyses sharper, smarter, and more efficient. You manage time and priorities effectively, even under pressure.
You understand how your work impacts your team and your clients, you take ownership of deliverables, and you are comfortable working with stakeholders with increasing autonomy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate (Bachelor/Master) of Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
Strong numerical, analytical, and written presentation skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, conditional functions, data validation, advanced charting) and PowerPoint
Fluent communication in English – verbal and written (at least C1 level)
Fluency in French, German, Spanish or Italian is an asset (at least B2 level)
Results‑oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural setting
Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and readiness for client‑facing interactions
Strong time‑ and workload management skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a team player
Comfortable working in a virtual and international environment
Strong interest in the FMCG and/or T&D industry
