Mission Highlights
As a Strategy & Operations Intern, you will work at the intersection of business strategy, operations, and scientific teams. You will play a key role in structuring Entalpic’s internal operations and strategic initiatives, helping transform internal needs into concrete, high-impact action plans.
You will work closely with the Business Team, as well as with research and technical teams, gaining hands-on exposure to how strategy and operations are built in a deep-tech startup.
Role & responsibilities

Strategy Development
Conduct market and ecosystem analyses to identify strategic opportunities, risks, and emerging trends
Support strategic decision-making by assessing market dynamics, competitive positioning, and potential growth levers
Contribute to internal strategic initiatives by translating insights into actionable recommendations

Operations & Process Optimization
Help design, structure, and automate internal processes to improve operational efficiency

Work on concrete automation projects such as:
Patent filing and IP-related workflows
CRM and dealflow management
Identify operational bottlenecks and propose pragmatic, scalable solutions

Funding & Programs Support
Support the identification of public funding opportunities (grants, innovation programs)
Assist in mapping relevant funding programs aligned with Entalpic’s R&D and business roadmap
Contribute to the preparation of supporting materials and internal coordination for applications

Cross-Team Collaboration
Act as a bridge between research and business teams
Engage closely with scientists to understand internal needs and translate them into structured operational or strategic initiatives
Help turn complex internal challenges into clear action plans and execution roadmaps
Expertise & skills
Final-year engineering student (or equivalent), with a strong interest in strategy, operations, and business topics or business student with a strong interest in science/technology. A first experience in a strategy consulting firm is a plus.
Strong curiosity and willingness to understand complex scientific and technical environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to structure ambiguous and open-ended problems.
Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus), with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working closely with research and engineering teams to translate technical needs into actionable operational and strategic initiatives.
Proactive, autonomous, and impact-driven mindset.
Interest in deep tech, climate tech, or innovation-driven startups is a strong plus.
