Within Back Market’s Bureau of Technology, the intern will join the GRC squad who are responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with laws and standards (specifically ISO 27001 & GDPR), and being responsible for demonstrating Back Market’s security maturity to external third parties. The objective of the internship is to design and implement an automated solution that will help our team answer our external third parties' security questionnaires . The target is to develop a solution that will leverage Artificial Intelligence solutions to draft answers to the questionnaires and save time.

- GRC Activities Exploration: Learn about GRC activities in a complex and rapidly-evolving environment.
- ISO 27001 Compliance: Gain hands-on experience linking ISO 27001 compliance to a scale-up context.
- AI: Design, test and implement an automated questionnaire-answering solution
- Independent Project Management: Take charge of a cybersecurity project independently, transforming identified needs into practical solutions.
- Practical Problem Solving: Tackle actual problems using well-known and cloud-based tooling suites such as Confluence, Google Suite, GCP, Github, and more.
- Professional Development: Be part of a collaborative team of cybersecurity experts dedicated to guiding your professional development.
- You are currently enrolled in your last year of an Engineering School/University with a Cybersecurity or Computer science specialization, already based in Spain (priority to Barcelona-based students)
- You have knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard
- You have knowledge of Artificial Intelligence systems
- Ability to work in an international environment
- You are fluent in English
- You are looking for a 6 month, full-time role (35h/week), internship (March 2025 - September 2025) based in Barcelona, Spain
- Your school can provide an internship agreement & you are authorized to work in Spain (EU Nationality or in possession of valid student visa/work permit).
