We are offering an exceptional career opportunity to join our Payroll & People Ops team in Bordeaux. We have an ambitious roadmap involving automating the payroll production with the connection to our Core HR system while keeping on investing in our in-house payroll expertise. We are looking for someone with a strong experience with French payroll who is curious to push his/her expertise to the international level.

As a Payroll Specialist, reporting to the Lead Payroll and People Ops, you will be in charge of the processing payroll for both French employees and international employees.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🏅

  • Autonomous and friendly management of Payroll:
  • Deliver the accurate payroll run for your scope in France
  • Coordinate and liaise with the payroll vendor for the European region (mainly Spain, Germany and the UK)
  • Be occasionally the back-up for the coordination with our payroll vendors in the US and Apac (Japan and Hong Kong).
  • Managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding in your scope.
  • Handle recurring legal and social declarations (i.e. DSN in France, End of Year declarations).
  • Engage with our external payroll, benefits providers and local administration when needed.
  • Leverage on the capabilities of our tools stack including ADP Decidium for France and Papaya Global for the rest of the world.
  • Legal monitoring so that we are always aware of changes in regulation and payroll in coordination with our legal department
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and reports to facilitate audits, write missing process if necessary
  • Efficient run of People Operations:
  • Leverage our new HR core system (Workday) to automate the preparation of all legal documentation (i.e. contracts, amendments and end of contract documents…)
  • Suggest improvement on our benefit management (e.g. Health insurance registrations, Lunch card registration, …)
  • Ensure that employees get swift and friendly assistance: answering questions, resolving issues, communicating changes proactively with a positive mindset and touch of humour when appropriate.

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • You have graduated from a degree in human resources, legal, accounting or finance.
  • You have solid experience within a payroll or people operation team.
  • You are enthusiastic and eager to open yourself to a new level of expertise.
  • You are comfortable working autonomously, curious and think things over
  • A knowledge of ADP Decidium is required.
  • Exposure to Global payroll is a plus.
  • You have worked in a fast-growing and in an international environment.
  • You have great communication skills.
  • Excel/Gsheet is your best friend (or at least a very close relative).
  • You are structured and thorough with strong attention to details and data accuracy.
  • English is a no brainer.
