About the role:
As the Head of Sales SMBs (Small and Medium Businesses) and marketing B2B at Back Market, you will play a critical role in developing and expanding our B2B presence globally. You will lead a team of talented sales professionals and work closely with them to drive growth, build client relationships, and deliver exceptional results. Reporting to the Global General Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing a strategic go-to-market plan tailored to the unique needs of SMB clients worldwide.

About the role:

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇
- 360 Sales Cycle Management: Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals. This includes prospecting, demonstrating Back Market’s value proposition, handling pricing and negotiations, and closing sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Sales Strategy and Leadership: Develop and implement a global sales strategy to expand Back Market’s reach in the SMB sector, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Business Development: Identify and generate new business opportunities with prospective SMB clients across various global markets. Target and approach different verticals to maximize sales potential.
- Lead Generation: Through prospecting, cold calling, and B2B marketing (SEO, SEA, Partnerships, PR, ..), build a Lead Generation Engine to feed the Sales team with.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of targets. Leverage CRM tools to track opportunities, manage customer data, and forecast sales performance.
- Collaborative Selling: Work closely with colleagues in Customer Success, Supply, and Product to provide the best possible solutions to our customers. Ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to ongoing account management.
- Inbound Lead Conversion: Collaborate with the marketing team to convert inbound leads from various channels, including events, webinars, and case studies, into qualified opportunities and closed deals.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct market analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Translate these insights into strategic opportunities to drive business growth.
- Team Management: Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of B2B sales professionals. Provide coaching and development to ensure team members meet and exceed revenue targets and key performance metrics.
- Reporting and Performance Analysis: Develop strategic insights and provide structured performance reporting to senior management. Use data-driven analysis to optimize sales strategies and improve team performance.
- You're perfectly fluent in french and english
- Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B sales, including substantial experience in SaaS Sales. Proven track record in B2B marketing and CRM management is essential.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams, driving sales growth, and achieving revenue targets in a competitive market.
- Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, customer relationship management, and market dynamics within the SMB sector.
- Strong knowledge of B2B marketing strategies, lead generation, and CRM systems. Ability to leverage CRM tools for sales optimization and customer relationship management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse sales team. Experience in setting goals and driving team performance.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies and outcomes.
