ABOUT THE JOB:

Back Market is now looking for its new FP&A - B2B services & Group reporting. Reporting to the FP&A Senior lead, you will be a key player of the Finance team and you will contribute to shape the future of finance at Back Market. You will be working in very close coordination with other finance teams (among which accounting team first) and business teams, starting obviously with the operations teams.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • Keep on improving the Group financial performance and be a key business partner to help drive the business
  • Monitor Seller services performance, at Group level as well as at a country level
  • Perform gap analysis vs. budget / reforecasts, and recommendations to the business executives
  • Act as a business partner for business teams for new services launch and initiatives
  • Coordinate the Group monthly financial closing / reporting process
  • Lead and continuously improve the monthly closing process with a closing delay reduction objective
  • Work closely with teams in all subsidiaries to ensure transmission of robust and harmonized monthly financial information
  • Actively participate into the preparation of the Group monthly financial packages, to be shared with the Executive Committee and the shareholders
  • Ensure a proper reconciliation between accounting and reporting
  • Contribute to the budget and the reforecast processes for the Group
  • Coordinate FP&A and operational teams during forecast processes (Budget, reforecast, rolling) to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on schedule
  • Support to business teams on the construction of their plans
  • Communication & presentation
  • Take an active part into the development of Back Market and the structuring of the finance team by help implementing / maintaining / connecting the right management tools to automate and improve the quality of the financial information (Anaplan, ERP, dashboarding, KPIs)

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • You are fluent in and English
  • You hold a master’s degree in Finance (or equivalent)
  • You bring to the table at least 4 years of experience in corporate finance, of which meaningful experience in FP&A, ideally in a similar position.
  • You have excellent financial modeling and scenario analysis skills, including the ability to build excel-based decision tools, sensitivity tables (expert user of Microsoft Excel is a must)
  • You love to work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ideally, you already have a strong experience in a start-up / scale-up, and / or in a marketplace environment
  • You are a hands-on person able to dive into accounting, tax & reporting issues
