This role involves conducting legal research and ensuring monitoring, reviewing and drafting contracts, assisting in the implementation of tax regulations and providing legal advice to ensure all teams of Back Market are aware of our legal processes.
Your Mission (If You Accept It):
- Perform legal research and ensure legal monitoring
- Participate in the drafting and negotiation of contracts with providers
- Provide legal advice to all teams of Back Market on various subjects (consumption law, IP law, competition law, privacy law and compliance regulations)
- Contribute to the management of global tax affairs of Back Market in all countries, notably in terms of corporate tax and VAT
- Implement our transfer pricing policy and contribute to our transfer pricing documentation
- Answer operational questions about tax matters and build an internal knowledge base and contribute to seller education
- Ensure our compliance with Eco-contribution (EPR) regulations
- You are an “EFB” student and/or have a DJCE / Master I or Master II in law, ideally in business and tax law
- Looking for a 6-month internship
- English and French are no-brainers (fully professional capability). If you’re extra cool and speak more languages, bonus points for you!
- You already have prior internship experience in a related area, big plus if worked with digital or e-commerce law, privacy law, distribution and competition law, and consumption law
- You are endowed with excellent communication skills and a strong capacity for analysis and synthesis
- Starting date in January 2024
- Duration 4 to 6 months
