Adore Me, a subsidiary of Victoria’s Secret & Co. (NYSE: VSCO) since being acquired in December 2022, is hiring an energetic, self-motivated, and collaborative Senior Accountant to play an important role on our global Accounting team. This hybrid role is based at our SoHo headquarters in NYC (in-office three days per week) and will help to support monthly close, enhance control documentation and processes, and liaise with our public parent company. Reporting to our Assistant Controller, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Accounting team and work cross- functionally across a wide array of areas within the business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
●Perform month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and account analyses.
●Aid in further accounting processes as necessary including reporting, explanation of variances to management, and ad hoc analyses.
●Monitor and maintain controls and procedures in order to comply with GAAP.
●Serve as a cross-functional contact with teams across the company to drive enhanced financial reporting accuracy and corporate strategic objectives.
●Liaise with our public company parent (Victoria’s Secret & Co.) in the coordination of internal controls, audit, monthly and quarterly reporting, and general process requests. .
●Help shepherd the development of an enterprise-level accounting infrastructure including implementation of ERP best practices and third-party tools.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
●2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally a mix of relevant industry and Big 4 or large regional firm experience.
●CPA track strongly preferred.
●Familiarity with FASB GAAP codification, SOX control frameworks, and general public company modus operandi.
●Experience supporting, improving, and implementing public company-caliber business and accounting systems and processes.
●Ecommerce and consumer subscription experience (including experience with inventory) is preferred.
●Self-motivated, detail-oriented, hands-on go-getter with the ability to build and overhaul processes, take initiative, work independently and proactively, multi-task, and remain flexible with changing priorities.
●An intellectually curious team player with a no-compromises approach to work quality, attention to detail, organization, and accountability.
●Experience with Netsuite, Tipalti, FloQast, and Brex preferred.
EXPECTED COMPENSATION RANGE:
The anticipated salary of this position is $90,000-$110,000. The actual salary will depend on a variety of factors including the candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, and other job-related factors.
