About the role
As the Marketing Data Analyst for the EU, you will play a pivotal role in driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our performance marketing campaigns across all European markets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our marketing efforts are data-driven and aligned with our business objectives. You will be part of the Performance Marketing team but will work closely with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure data quality and continuous improvement. Your analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets will be key to achieving OLX growth targets.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead reporting on performance marketing across European markets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Gather and synthesize input from marketers and various data sources to provide comprehensive insights.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure data quality and implement ongoing improvements.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Periodically (daily, weekly, monthly) report back to key stakeholders on progress, articulating the impact and outcomes of marketing efforts.

What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Proven experience in web analytics, performance marketing, digital advertising, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative mindset, capable of identifying innovative solutions.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Analytics, and SQL, with strong analytical skills to turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
  • Nice to have: Proficiency in Python and experience working with Data Science and statistics, or willingness to learn and develop these skills.
