At New Relic we are looking for an HR professional that enjoys working in a fast paced environment with a high performing Global HR Business Partner team.  We are looking for a trusted advisor that naturally excels at building strong relationships that includes positive challenge, influence and negotiation skills. The HRBP should demonstrate passion to strategically partner with the global HRBP team, People Team, Finance, and GTM Leaders to drive an innovative and growth mindset culture. 

This is an HR Business Partner role that will focus on the EMEA region (based in the UK) for the Go-to-Market organisation. This role will balance business unit goals with regional complexities and HR deliverables while skillfully balancing the global strategy and execution to deliver business outcomes and a positive employee experience. 
The role will provide support in a manner that is consistent with local laws and best practices and will help shape the future of work through strong partnerships, data analysis, trending issues, assessing root cause analysis and making recommendations to influence positive outcomes.  
What you'll do
  • Primary HR Support for GTM Relics in the EMEA Region.  Supports business leaders, front line managers and Relics in key HR lifecycle processes. Advises, influences and develops people and talent strategies to drive regional and global business alignment.
  • Coaches and influences managers and Relics on all aspects of HR lifecycle processes, policies and programs.  
  • Acts as a liaison for change and can thoughtfully design and implement a change management plan in a positive manner with minimal disruption to go-to-market objectives and key projects, etc. 
  • Partners closely with the HRBP GTM team in the Americas and APJ  to align on strategies, key priorities and processes that impact Go-to-Market.
  • Partners with our People Team, Finance and other parts of the organization to develop and/or deliver strategic HR initiatives that include: organizational design, talent management, employee relations, compensation, culture, diversity, talent development, and performance management to provide creative strategies and solutions for the business.
  • Actively works with local culture advocates to strengthen and maintain regional culture and organizational trust. 
  • Makes it a priority to lean in and understand the goals and strategies of the business and develops strategic and tactical HR plans in alignment with the goals of the business. 
  • Leads and serves as advisor and coach on initiatives to successfully use HR processes and resources to achieve high performance, exceed strategic objectives and adapt to and manage organizational and business changes.
  • Proactively partners with our Talent Acquisition team to share information and develop successful recruiting strategies.
  • Leads and / or serves on special HR assigned project teams and  business unit committees.  
  • Adheres to and / or sets new standards / upleveling of standard practices and methodologies. Analyzes data and trends and recommends, develops, and delivers on plans to improve employee experiences, including engagement, dei, retention and performance.
  • Supports compliance of all local laws and regulations, security and integrity of data including personal and confidential information.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
This role requires
  • Degree in Human Resources or a related area.
  • Progressive experience in HR, including strong previous HR Business Partner experience with an organization that is fast paced and customer driven. 
  • Heavy emphasis on employee relations, must have prior ER experience  
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and influencing leaders at various levels (front line manager - leader levels).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior work experience with a multinational company headquartered in the US
  • Experience advising US executives on application of local labor laws and compliance requirements in EMEA, specifically within France, Germany and the Netherlands
  • Generally, has in-depth experience in one or more HR disciplines (recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, etc).   
  • Demonstrated experience influencing, coaching and building rapport with front line leaders and above. Experience analyzing data, diagnosing issues and making business recommendations. 
  • Experience managing local site / regional challenges and complex regional projects while working across multiple geographies with HRBPs, COEs and Finance partners.
Bonus points if you have
  • HR experience with a global SaaS organization (preferably experience supporting Sales organizations).
  • HR Diploma /Degree qualification member of CIPD Desirable. 
  • Proficient German and/or French verbal and written communication skills
