Your opportunity
New Relic's Growth Marketing division is in search of a conversion rate optimization (CRO) Specialist who will facilitate the success of a comprehensive A/B testing program that seeks to optimize the conversion rate of the marketing pages on newrelic.com. If you've got a passion for great user experience, are motivated by unbridled curiosity, with a desire to learn and adapt to the fast-paced landscape of CRO, we're looking for you!
As a CRO Specialist, you'll build and run A/B tests to provide well-founded recommendations and discover novel opportunities for boosting customer engagement while coordinating with cross-functional teams (content creation, web development, graphic design, web production, etc.) to iterate the user experience, design layout, messaging, and architecture of the website. You'll be using our data analytics tools to measure the efficiency of CRO across the website and provide growth leadership with in-depth data and reporting (i.e., conversions).
What you'll do
  • Guide Successful, Data-Driven CRO Strategy by creating, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on A/B split tests.
  • Use result data to inform CRO strategy, find opportunities, and prioritize CRO initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various teams to implement CRO test winning patterns.
  • Maintain the Split Tests project and its tickets and tasks, create and assign tasks to appropriate collaborators, follow up, and manage the CRO ticket process.
  • Assign audiences and launch A/B tests on the website.


This role requires
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or relevant field and 2 years (min.) related work experience
  • Experience in coding basic HTML webpages and using HTML, CSS
  • Excellent analytical skills and can interpret data to build insightful reports.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with project or program management tools like Jira or Asana.


Bonus points if you have
  • Knowledge of basic Javascript
  • Experience with website optimization tools and A/B testing
  • Demonstrated ability to work backward from goal to develop an executable strategy
  • Expert-level usage of Google Analytics

Estimated Base Pay Range: $ 69,000 - $ 86,000
The pay range above represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan and a competitive equity package. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
